I Once Knew A Man

A poem for a friend

Photo by Kent Pilcher on Unsplash

I once knew a man who was

strongwild dangerous,

and gentlebeautiful majesty.

I once knew a man who was Light.

I once knew a friend,

who was

kindness and generosity,

he was a true friend.

I once knew a friend who was Light.

I once knew a man,

loved a man,

love a man.

a brave man

a true friend.

There once was a man

with dark eyes,

with wise eyes.

he was a friend

a kind friend

a soul friend.

I once knew a man

who was free.
